Sweet Wood is a family owned, operated, and oriented business consisting of myself (David) and my very-soon-to-be wife, Melissa.
Coming from a family of craftsmen and artists, I have been woodworking since I was old enough to lift a hammer, and am constantly seeking to improve and hone my craft with new techniques and ideas.
Melissa handles the business end of things here at Sweet Wood, and has been working in customer service for over 15 years.
She prides herself in providing the very best customer service and truly believes in the age-old adage: “The Customer is ALWAYS right!”.

With today's floundering economy and lack of job opportunities, I have been unemployed for over a year.
However, I refuse to lay down and become a statistic of economic downfall and instead am relying upon my carpentry skills and creativity to create beautiful and functional pieces of art.
After hearing again and again that I should start my own business, I have gained the courage to take the leap and go after my dreams with Melissa at my side.
