Em julho de 1966, ele veio para Ponta Grossa juntamente com sua família, e transferiu seu armazém, que passou a se localizar na rua Francisco Otaviano.

Com o passar dos anos, comprou um terreno que ficava na esquina de seu antigo armazém, na rua Bandeirantes, onde construiu o supermercado de 375m2 que foi inaugurado em 18 de dezembro de 1986.
