Detailed description is We meet every Tuesday at 8pm in Shineman 185! We use telescopes, stargaze, play astronomy based games, host Star Parties, and learn more about Astronomy! Club activities include:.
-taking telescopes out onto the Shineman balcony to star-gaze on clear nights.
-practicing assembling, disassembling, and operating telescopes inside on bad nights.
-play astronomy based games of bingo, jeopardy, etc..
-go to the Planetarium to view Dr.
Roby's shows that he has prepared and presented.
-take trips to the Rice Creek telescope.
-take trips to the MOST and other places that show and promote astronomy.
-just talking about general astronomy related things.

The club is open to all students and faculty.
We also host several telescope-viewing events (aka "star parties") every semester, which are open to the general public.
