Detailed description is One of the oldest Indian Budget Hotels in Mussoorie, started around 1940 in a prime and commanding location (Kulri Bazar, The Mall) of the main town of Mussoorie.
The entire property was owned by the famous Bankers of the area - M/s Mansa Ram & Sons,and run as a premier lodging house of the area by the present management since 1954.
Later had to be sub-divided into residential(Summer House) and hotel(Amar Hotel) area due to Court Auction..

Owned by (Late )Shri M.N.Mehrotra & family, the property is situated just above the Mall Road at a distance of 200 metres from the Bus/taxi Terminus and Govt.

The huge open terrace roof(4000 sq.ft) commands an excellent panoramic view of the highest peak of Mussoorie -Lal Tibba and the snow clad Himalayan ranges beyond.
