Ear Massage Il Sudestudio è uno studio di registrazione fondato a Guagnano in provincia di Lecce nel 1999 da Stefano Manca in una casa colonica dei primi del Novecento appartenuta alla famiglia Bari di Campi Salentina che all'epoca conduceva 9 ettari di vigneto circostante la casa.
Lo studio si trova sulla strada provinciale che collega Guagnano a Cellino San Marco tra i vigneti del Parco del Negroamaro..
Il nome precedente con cui era conosciuto nei primi due anni di attività era ''Memokid studio'' e svolgeva principalmente la funzione di sala prove e studio di registrazione per i gruppi musicali della scena locale (Vento di fronda, Room 104, Suburban Noise, Ushuaia, Belintesta, Superpartner, Nitro Juice, Non toccate Miranda, Shank, Violle, Erpice, I mostri), di stampo prevalentemente alternative, rock, HC, ska e rock steady..
Nel 2009 la sede è stata trasferita a 50 metri sempre sullo stesso appezzamento di terreno in un edificio di nuova costruzione che è stato progettato dall'ingegnere acustico Fabrizio Giovannozzi fondatore della società Studio Sound Service di Firenze, in collaborazione con il fisico Donato Masci e con l'architetto Marco Patruno.
Fabrizio Giovannozzi non vide mai il progetto acustico del Sudestudio realizzato perché è morto nel 2012 prima del completamento della sala di ripresa principale.
Donato Masci ha ereditato l'esperienza trentennale di Fabrizio Giovannozzi e ha portato a completamento il progetto Sudestudio sempre affiancato dall'architetto Marco Patruno..
Negli anni lo studio diventa uno dei punti di riferimento per la musica indipendente italiana (Rumore, febbraio 2011 p.31) e comincia ad essere preso in considerazione dalle orchestre per l'ampiezza e l'acustica delle sale.
Successivamente entrano a far parte nello staff dei fonici Matilde Davoli e Valerio Daniele del Chora Studio..
Nel 2011, parallelamente all'attività di produzione delle band e alla crisi del settore discografico, Sudestudio comincia a promuovere la scena musicale indipendente mediante l'organizzazione di eventi live nell'arena antistante lo studio in collaborazione con le associazioni culturali Odelay Gigs, Territori non convenzionali, Arci Rubik, Poplab, Knick Knack, TTevents, Radio Flo.
