Studio B is the audio production studio at Florida Panhandle Technical College (formerly Washington-Holmes Technical Center) in Chipley, Florida, offering tracking and mixing utilizing multiple consoles, including a Toft ATB 24, with Lynx Aurora ad-da ThunderBolt converters and Mac Pro computers.
We use Pro Tools 10 and Pro Tools 11, as well as Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, Reason and other DAW's with various additional mic pre's, outboard gear and KRK VXT reference monitors, allowing us to mix 'in the box' or out to 'old school' analog.
We want to thank Lowe's Home Improvement who gave us a grant which allowed us to spec, purchase and upgrade our offering here at the college.
The versatility of our rigs allows us to live track and mix full bands, vocal groups and even small orchestras in our 5,000 square foot studio and isolation rooms for drums and vocals.
