I learned to play guitar in the late 60s.
.
Since then I have been singing, writing songs and playing fingerstyle guitar both solo and in bands.
.
My interests lie mainly in Acoustic folk, roots, alt country, jazz and blues..
I have a substantial back catalogue of songs written in different styles.
Most have been acoustic singer /songwriter type tunes tunes.
I have also explored and enjoyed writing in collaboration with other musicians.

In the last few years I have learned to play Banjo, Banjola, Mandolin, Bass and Charango and I have worked these instruments into my performances using them to expand my creative palette and to enrich my recordings.

These days rather than concentrating on performing, I see my time as more productively spent focusing on writing and recording my music.

In most cases I play all instruments and do all the vocals in my recordings.
I also do the production editing and mastering .
