Detailed description is Tina has been teaching music since 1985.
Lessons, available for all ages, specializing in violin and guitar, are given at my home in Richard, LA – 5 miles west of Church Point.
$15 for a 30 minute weekly lesson.

Private Instruction is available for all ages, specializing in violin and guitar.
Teaching methods include learning how to read music, music theory, and ear training.
Students own interests are encouraged, and every effort will be made to include these interests in each lesson..

Tuition is $15 for a 30 minute weekly lesson or $30 for a 60 minute weekly lesson.
Payment is made for 4 lessons in advance: $60 for four 30 minute or $120 for four 60 minute weekly lessons.
Tuition does not cover the cost of books or instruments.
Each student is responsible for buying his own books and supplying his own instrument..

Students are expected to attend lessons regularly.
Notification of a lesson cancellation by the student is a courtesy to the instructor, but does not excuse payment for the contracted lessons.
If the cancellation is called in well ahead of time, the lesson may be rescheduled for a convenient time.
If the student simply fails to attend the lesson and does not give previous notification, payment is charged as usual.
If the instructor cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled or tuition will be adjusted..

Music training began on piano for 7 years – age 8-14.
Self-taught traditional old-time and bluegrass music on guitar, mandolin and upright bass.
Fiddle, accordion and guitar instruction since 1985.
On Faculty of Centrum's Festival of American Fiddle Tunes 2002-2004.
Repertoire of Cajun fiddle and accordion styles, from the earliest recorded music to more modern styles.
Specializing in a method for learning music by ear.
Studied the fiddle styles of many Cajun fiddlers since 1978, including the styles of Balfa, Wade Fruge, Dennis McGee, Rodney Fontenot, Lee Manuel, Doc Guidry, Dick Richard, Lionel Leleux, PeeWee Broussard, and others.
Played fiddle and guitar with several Cajun bands sice 1983, including Maurice Barzas and the Original Mamou Playboys, Milton Adams and the Midnight Playboys, Felton LeJeune and the Cajun Cowboys, Jesse Lege and the Southern Ramblers, the Magnolia Sisters, Walter Mouton and the Scott Playboys, Scotty Pousson and the Point au Loup Playboys, Jason Frey, and Paul Daigle.
