I’ve been in the kitchen either helping or baking since I was old enough to sprinkle sugar on Christmas cookies & roll an Easter peanut butter egg many, many moons ago with my Great Grandmother & Grandmother.
I have continued many family traditions with my baking & have family recipes that are generations old.
I keep to the tradition with the original recipe and use REAL butter, cream, buttermilk and all brand name ingredients.
When somebody asks me what my secret is, it is just that.
I take extreme pride in only using the best ingredients.
I do not substitute or try to cut costs with generic or off brand ingredients.
Some ingredients I still go straight to the farm for! When I bake a cake, it is “from scratch” not out of a box.
When I bake for my hobby of baking, it is 100% true, traditional baking.

I was asked to start this page so people could more readily see what’s going on in my kitchen.
I will let you know what I am baking and the cost.
I like to bake with the seasons for the freshest fruit pies but have a few that I will make year round.
If I am not baking what you would like at the time, just ask! I will bake for anyone if I have the time.
I will use my recipe or yours, my container or yours.
Family recipes are the best & I will do my best to reproduce it the way you are accustomed to enjoying it.
Some people have the talent & just don’t have the time & others have no interest in baking but enjoy these special treats.

I try to keep my prices extremely reasonable however using only the best ingredients can make it difficult to control costs at times.
Custom cakes and decorating are very time consuming.
In addition to your "from scratch" made cake, there is design planning and fabricating.
Please do not confuse your custom order with a "flash-frozen", made months ago and shipped to the big box store, treat.
All orders are made fresh within 24 -48 hours of delivery.
Because custom cakes are just that, custom, prices vary.
