Elle est le terminus Sud de cette dernière.

Elle est sur deux niveaux, le niveau supérieur est utilisé par la ligne A et est construite sur le modèle classique des premières stations du métro lyonnais, deux voies avec deux quais latéraux, et le niveau inférieur est terminus le terminus de la ligne C, en cul-de-sac, avec deux voies, un quai latéral et un quai central, le quai latéral servant à la montée et le quai central servant à la descente, situation qu'on appelle la solution espagnole.Au niveau de la ligne C, les piliers du quai central et qui soutiennent la dalle de couverture sont implantés au ras de la voie la plus utilisé, celle de gauche (tandis que celle de droite sert en cas de situation exceptionnelle), quand on accède aux quais depuis le niveau du métro A et qui est encadrée par les deux quais, et du fait que l'espacement des piliers n'est pas le même que celui des portes des rames, fait que certaines portes s'ouvrent...
