My grandparents have a 150 acre farm in Ohio and they, along with my father have produced some outstanding grass fed beef for over 50 years.
All my life I watched them work the land and saw the result of that hard work when we would all sit down at the table to enjoy a dinner that was still growing in the ground only moments before..

I was horrified at just how ignorant I was to the pervasiveness of genetically modified foods.

We started with 5 chickens and a garden big enough to feed ourselves.

We now have several acres with over 50 pastured chickens for eggs and meat, pastured pigs, and turkeys and several large garden plots.
By incorporating traditional dirt farming with permaculture, and hydroponics we have increased our food production to the point where we can provide our community with the same high quality food we, and our families eat..
