Peter Catholic School This is the centennial celebration of St.
Peter Catholic School.
In the Spring of 1916, the Sisters of St.
Joseph along with Fr.
Peter Joseph Lang turned the old St.
Peter Church located at the corner of 16th and Margaret Street into the first St.
Peter Catholic School.
The first students entered the school that fall.
In 1928, a new school building was opened which is the part of the current building where the administrative offices and the 1st and 2nd grade classrooms are currently housed.
Additions were added to the school in 1954, 1972 (O'Reilley Hall), and 1994 (Early Childhood Wing under Fr.
Zac Fellowship Hall).
Today, the school serves 230 students in Preschool through 8th Grade and is about to enter its 2nd Century unlocking the potential of students in the North St.
