Luke Lutheran Church of Ferndale, PA, established 1752, is a Christ centered community which continues to be faithfully committed to the proclamation of God’s Word.
We are dedicated to glorifying our Lord through worship, learning and outreach ministry; serving and caring for the individual, the family, the community and the world..

As many of us remember, St.
Luke’s United Church of Christ shared our building in Ferndale until they sold their half to the Lutheran congregation and moved to Ottsville in 1976.
We will again be united with St.
Luke’s United Church of Christ through our pastor, Rev.
Suzanne M.
Spaulding..

Our new shared ministry makes us pioneers, being the first Lutheran congregation in the Southeastern Synod to share a pastor with a United Church of Christ congregation..

The idea for our shared ministry is for each congregation to maintain their identity and building while doing outreach, confirmation, Bible studies and Sunday School together.
Rev.
Spaulding will be the pastor for both congregations with two worship services..

In order for Pastor Suzanne to preside at both the Ottsville and Ferndale worship services, our worship service here at St.
Luke Lutheran Church of Ferndale, PA will permanently start at 11:00 AM while St.
Luke’s United Church of Christ will hold their worship service at 9:00 AM..
