Ambrose University Dance Marathon is a student-run organization which raises funds and support for kids being treated at University of Iowa Children's Hospital! In 2011, St.
Ambrose University Dance Marathon (SAU DM) hosted a preview event-- a short, 4-hour event to give the community a taste for the awesome atmosphere that is Dance Marathon! In under 10 weeks of planning, SAU DM was able to raise over $6,000; sponsor four Miracle Families; and have 200+ dancers attend...all For The Kids!!.

In 2013, SAU DM hosted its first ever full-length Dance Marathon event on April 6, 2013 from 3:00 - 11:00pm in the Rogalski Center on SAU's main campus! SAU DM was able to raise over $47,000! .

SAU DM's second full-length was record breaking, raising over $132,000 for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital! .
Together, eight executive board members and over a hundred committee members worked together to plan the 10 hour event with nearly 700 dancers in attendance.

SAU DM 3 successfully raised over $175,000 all FTK.
This was the biggest jump in the fundraising total thus far.
SAU DM 4 grew in all aspects of the organization and with the help of over 700 dancers, committee members, volunteers and sponsors raised over $186,000.
