Detailed description is Circolo Culturale Spilimbergomusica Siamo nel Febbraio del 1991 e dal desiderio di un gruppo di ragazzi, di riscattare la musica giovane, portandola ad un livello più popolare rispetto alle tradizionali scuole di musica, nasce il primo nucleo dell' associazione.
E’ la voglia di offrire ai ragazzi alle prime armi con uno strumento, ma anche a chi già suona, un punto di riferimento.
Le prime riunioni furono indette al "Bar Carlini" gestito allora da Tony De Marchi, componente dello storico gruppo "I Cirri"..
.
Negli anni seguenti sono stati fatti numerosi sforzi per ricreare la "Filarmonica di Spilimbergo" e per promuovere la fondazione musicale "G.Tomat".
L'attività concertistica poi subì una notevole impennata con la nuova gestione del "Dancing al Giardino" di Gaio, diventato poi "Rototom".
Per le band locali il fatto di avere a disposizione una sala di così importante rilievo nazionale, costituiva uno stimolo impressionante..

Come dimenticare poi "Musicalibera" 3 giorni di musica non-stop con adesioni da tutta Italia per alzare un grido forte a favore della musica considerata "minore"..

Tanto lavoro è stato fatto in 20 anni e con ottimi risultati.
Il Circolo Culturale Spilimbergomusica ora offre la disponibilità di una sede, gentilmente messa a disposizione dall' amministrazione comunale; una sala prove aperta, previa prenotazione, a chiunque abbia necessità di suonare in un posto "tranquillo"; un' impianto proprio di amplificazione seguito da vari tecnici messi a disposizione dei gruppi impegnati in concerti o manifestazioni.
Continuano nel frattempo molteplici impegni, concerti, manifestazioni, stages.
Come dimenticare l'incontro con Christian Mayer, batterista di "Elio e le Storie Tese" e le feste di Spilimbergomusica prima presso la sede e poi a Barbeano!.

In tutto questo turbinio di attività rimane per noi appuntamento fisso l'ormai tradizionale "Avanzi di Natale" compleanno ideale del Circolo dove viene offerto lo spazio per l'esibizone di gruppi Spilimberghesi emergenti e "vecchie glorie"..
