My name is Jeremy Lawrence “Spike” Cash.
I’m a visually impaired artist born and raised in Nebraska.
I’m a self-taught artist who paints landscapes, still life, and abstract paintings in oil and acrylic paints.
I aspire to learn more styles as I continue my artistic adventure.
Currently, I use online social media platforms to promote my artwork.
I also attend many craft and art fairs throughout the year connecting with people.

I grew up watching Bill Alexander and Bob Ross with my grandmother.
Learning to paint with my grandma is a memory I hold dear to my heart.
Art comes naturally; my entire family is artist in one way or another.
I always say, “It doesn’t matter what you do for a living.
If you find the passion in what you do, you have found your inner artist.”.

Throughout my childhood and years I dabbled in art taking art classes here and there but it wasn’t until much later I found my passion for painting.
Since I was young I remember painting gifts for family but it wasn’t until I was approached by a friend to do a memorial painting.
My friend wanted me to paint her horse Black Jack that had passed away.
It was at that moment that I knew what I wanted to do for a living.
I like creating artwork that conveys an emotion.
Since that day I have sold over 200 paintings in 6 states.

In 2017, along with painting on canvas I will be introducing art on rocks, saw blades and Spike original frames to go with my paintings.
