The purpose of the SWU Outdoor Club is to give those interested in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, camping, backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, and other similar activities an opportunity to interact with people having similar interests and learn to appreciate the natural world and its Creator.
To these ends, the club will schedule outings open to the campus community and hold regular meetings to discuss recent trips, ideas for future outings, and other topics related to outdoor recreation..
