A long awaited opportunity presented itself to our community that required a robust combination of vision, resolve, resources, patriotism and investment partnership..

Our goal was to have Phase I completed by Labor Day 2012, and the remaining two Phases as finances permit.
We were excited when we held our Phase I dedication on Sept 9, 2012 with a completed Phase I and Phase II over 90% completed! .

Three distinct sections are uniquely combined to form one beautiful park.
A memorial to honor and reflect those who refuse(d) to stand down for freedom; an outdoor amphitheater that can comfortably accommodate large crowds for ceremonies, outdoor concerts, or community assemblies; and a park environment complete with picnic shelters, green grass and shade trees to enjoy a warm summer’s day with family and friends..

The majority of the work is being done by volunteers and the city of Chamberlain has agreed to maintain the park once completed.
The VFW and local Legion post have also agreed to help maintain the flags and monuments.
