Detailed description is Sonadi Charitable Trust is an animal welfare organization dedicated to providing care to abandoned and sick animals, and providing birth control operations Sonadi is recognized by the Animal Welfare Board of India; Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt.
of India and works under the aegis of Municipal Corporation of Delhi in performing Animal Birth Control operations.

Vandana Sengupta, the guiding force behind Sonadi is the recipient of Venu Menon Animal Allies Award for 2004.
She helped set up the Sonadi shelter cum hospital in 2001 at Najafgarh.
She worked as a social worker at Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre for 18 years before setting up Sonadi.

300 animals and 400 ABC animals per month.
