Detailed description is Somdal also called as Shongran is a village located west of Ukhrul in Ukhrul district, Manipur state in India.
As per 2011 census, the village has a total of 468 families of 2375 persons of which 1209 are male while 1166 are female Of the total population, 13.14% are in the age group of 0–6 years.
