13-14 yaşlarında kendi halinde şiirler yazan Sokrat ST, daha sonraları Rap müzik ile tanışır ve bu müzik türü ona çok ilginç gelir.
Bu işin nasıl yapıldığını, nelere ihtiyaç duyulduğunu araştırır ve yazdığı şiirleri vokale çevirir.
Bir süre müziği kendine bir hobi edindikten sonra bir Rock grubuna Rap vokalle eşlik eder ve kısa bir dönem bu grupla nu-metal yaparlar.

Daha sonra ''Blue Organizasyon & Menajerlik'' ile çalışmaya başlayan Sokrat ST, Türkiye'nin ilk underground rap turnesi olan Blue Organization Türkiye Turnesi'nde yer alır..

Son albümü ''Kara Suratlarla Şiirler Arası Yolculuk'' ise internet üzerinden yaklaşık 30 bin indirilerek, 2010 yılının en çok indirilen albümü olmuştur.
Son olarak da Sokrat ST, yine Dikkat Records çatısı altında çalışmalarına devam etmektedir..

Sokrat ST, also known as Samet Gönüllü was born in Trabzon/Turkey in 30th June of 1989.
When he was child he was writing poems, and then he met with rap music and it attracted his attention.
Then he wanted to discover the rap music like how can he make this music and he started to adapt his poems to rap music.
For a while he done this act for hobby and then he joined a nu metal band by his rap vocals..

After a short time his hobby became a lifestyle and he loved rap music.
First times of 2004 year he recorded his first studio song and then he created the Dikkat Records at Kadıköy with Cumali Efrah and Kamufle..

Rap music fans' attention was drawn by the Sokrat St's ''Elveda'' Songs.
He has been at Turkey's first underground rap tour called Blue Organization Turkey Tour after he started to work with Blue Organization & Management in 2009.
His last album downloaded over 30.000, and it has been the most downloaded rap album in Turkey.
He is still working at Dikkat Records.
