Snow Camp Historical Drama Society was organized in 1971 to preserve and acknowledge the rich history of the Quaker community in Snow Camp, NC..
In 1973, James Wilson founded Snow Camp Outdoor Theatre and with much enthusiasm he brought the "Sword of Peace" then "Pathway to Freedom" to the beautiful Cane Creek area of Snow Camp.
