Snoopy Mailbox was founded in Fallbrook, CA in 1975 by Monty & JoAnn Okey.
Originally inspired by a mailbox they saw in Michigan, Monty & JoAnn created their own "Snoopy" while living in southern California.
Snoopy grew up with the first Okey kids sunbathing, and enjoying year-round warm weather for six years..

When the Okey crew moved back to Michigan, Snoopy made the move as well.
1981 marked Snoopy's first year in Manchester, Michigan.
