Part of it rejoins the ever flowing life force and the collective soul that entangles our world from all directions and dimensions.
It's timeless, bound to reincarnate and ascend..

Another part remains with the remains, and is bound to be part of our tangible world.
That part sometimes finds its way into my hands: the hands of the skull artist.
I bring it with me, the skull or carcass of a deceased being.
I get to know her and find out who she was, what she wanted to be or what she desires to become.
From there she rises from her grave and once again she is here among us to tell us her story..

During a walk in the deep dark forests of Hälsingland, Sweden, Shara found the remains of a deceased animal.
She brought the skull home with no intention but to keep it as a memento of a magical day surrounded by trees and silence.
No more, no less....
But if one dares to stare long enough into the face of death to actually SEE, one might just find...life.
Because that skull has not always been just a skull.
Not long ago she belonged to a female moose.
Who was she? How did she live? How did she die?.

And as a firm believer in reincarnation, questions about what she might become were not far away.
The answer was Aruaa, and since then there has been no turning back.
Shara spends most of her time devoted to art by working with skulls and skeletal parts of deceased animals.
Skulls & Bones is her vehicle to reach YOU!.

Ans: ABOUT SKULL ARTIST PETRA SHARA STOOR Petra Shara Stoor is impression and expression; The artist who knows when to let life feed her with its everlasting input and when to just let it all out, breaking every rule of conventionality in the process. As a native of East Botnia, Finland, she grew up in a rural environment. Close to nature she witnessed the neverending circumambulation of life and death, and developed that special eye for details; How there's a metamorphosis in the making everywhere. Shara's experience includes a wide range of creative and artistic occupations, including makeup artistry, mask work, hair design and props for commercial and private sectors. She teaches sfx-makeup / body makeup and her work can be seen in various films, theatres and music productions. She has studied and practiced art for a long time but has not until now showcased any of her own artwork to the public. While living in the north of UK she worked as an art consultant at Whitewall Galleries and she has also worked at various art exhibitions in Sweden. This combination of background, insight and experience has brought Shara to where she is today.
