Skudefestivalen 2013 arrangeres 4-7 juli.
Den første festivalen ble arrangert i 1994 og det er Lions Skudeneshavn, Karmøy Råseglarlag og Skudeneshavn Båtforening som står som arrangør.
Festivalen er blitt en av Norges største kystkulturfestivaler.
Mange av våre samarbeidspartnere har vært med oss i alle år, nye har kommet til slik at vi i dag har i 104 smarbeidspartnere..

Vi er Norges største kulturmønstring med båter i alle kategorier, trebåter, veteranbåter, lystbåter, småbåter og seilskuter og festivalen samler ca.
35 000 besøkende og ca.
600 båter..

Gammelt håndtverk som båtbygging, repslaging, tønnemaker, knivsmed med mer demonstreres av håndtverkere i ypperste klasse.
I tillegg utstilles det gamle, restaurerte motorer..

Vi har egen festivalkunstner som stiller ut sitt arbeide på Bytunet.
Et av bildene til festivalkunstneren pryder også etiketten på årets festivalvin.
Desuten er det 12-14 kunstutstillinger spredt rundt omkring i byen..

Museet i Mælandsgården, hovedhus, sidebygg og tre sjøhus oppført på 1800- tallet med til sammen 1.500 kvm utstillingsarealer ~ et levende museum som bare må oppleves..

På dagtid oser det musikk og underholdningsinnslag fra utescener og i gatene, og på kveldstid er det mange forskjellige konserter å velge mellom.

Kirkekonsert i Falnes kirke er blitt et fast innslag på fredagskvelden.
