Nu i maj 2011 har renoveringen av Skoklosters gästhamn startat för att lyfta hela skicket samt få 20 nya gästhamnsplatser..

Midsommarafton 1965 öppnade "macken" som återinvigdes aug 2010, 45 år senare.
Byggnaden ritades av Håbo kommuns dåvarande statsarkitekt Noldén, även kallad "Nollan".
Marken arrenderades av Baron Rutger von Essen, dåvarande ägare av Skokloster, som byggde motormuseét och konferansanläggningen.
Byggnaden ritades så att den skulle smälta in i Skoklosters kulturmiljö..
Rutgers vision var att göra Skokloster turistvänlig.
Hösten 2009 gick Folke i pension..
