We provide rescue and refuge to more than 1000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens annually.

When animals are approved by OHS to enter “Second Chance,” we do not have to spend our own limited funds on spay/neuter, vaccinations and veterinarian check-ups because those services are provided through their on-site Veterinary Residency Program.
Our participation in this wonderful program allows us to find many more “forever homes” and to find them much more quickly than we would be able to accomplish working independently..
