Kariyerine 2006 yılında Elle Decor Dergisi'nde başlayan Simge fıstıkoğlu, 6 ay süren stil editörlüğü görevinin ardından Habertürk Televizyonu'nda spor spikeri olarak görev yapmaya başladı.
2009 yılında Habertürk Tv Spor Müdürü oldu.
2011 yılında habercilik kulvarına geçen Simge Fıstıkoğlu, 1 Gün ve Gün Başlıyor isimli haber kuşaklarının yapımcılığını ve sunuculuğunu üstlendi.Habertürk Tv'de Cumartesi-Pazar günleri canlı yayınlanan Burası Haftasonu programında sunuculuk yaptı.
