Detailed description is SHRED is a 501c3 foundation with the mission of providing life and career opportunities for young people through snow and skate culture.
The foundation will work with community organizations, schools, local recreation departments, snow/skate companies, reps and shops to create snowboard and skateboard programs for youth.
Additionally, we will work with local shops, mountains, brands, etc.
to provide apprentice programs for kids who are interested in pursuing potential careers within.
We will incorporate the core aspects of the culture which include; individuality, creativity, progression, entrepreneurial drive and community..

SHRED will also work to provide scholarships for youth to travel and attend snow and skate camps as well as other opportunities as they arise.
The foundation will also work to create additional opportunities for youth to continue to snowboard though lobbying the snow industry to establish special "legacy" programs that will allow youth and snowboarding families the ability to have access to discounted lift tickets and season passes.
