I am Michelle Whitrock.
I was born into and raised in an in-home childcare in the small town of Sterling, CO.
In 1988, my mom started the original Shortstuff Daycare out of our home and successfully ran it for 20 years.
I earned my allowances by helping Mom with the kids and, literally have a lifetime of childcare experience.
After graduating high school I went to live with my sister and acted as her live-in nanny for her first born the first three years of his life.
While going to school full-time at UNC, my nephew and I traveled three days a week to a nanny share where I cared for three other children.
In 2012 I graduated from UNC with my bachelors degree in psychology.
From there I moved on to being a nanny for a wonderful family whom I continued to work for until July, 2016.

In June my husband and I bought our first home in Milliken, CO and we finished the basement to be a pretty rocking daycare space.

We have a sassy red headed 2 year old little girl we call Tillie and a 3 year old Penny-Pup who loves children and is figuring out how to be protective without being over the top.
