2012-2013 North American Six Horse Hitch Classic Series Finalist Shining Stars campaigns an accomplished team of Percheron geldings at some of the finest Draft Horse Shows in North America.
Owner Dianna Marquardt began her endeavor with these Gentle Giants in 2001 with a single horse named "Fred" who she purchased at the Waverly Midwest Horse Sale.
The one horse operation quickly grew into something much larger, as the Shining Stars team worked to build the program that exists today.
In 2006, we traveled cross-country to Lexington, Virginia to compete at the World Percheron Congress.
The following year, we put together our first six-horse hitch.
Since then, we have continued to grow our program and achieved great success along the way..

Jared Hanson and Reece Mangels are responsible for the professional training of the Shining Stars athletes, with the assistance of Sean Cassidy.
