Detailed description is The purpose of Sherman Sports Medicine is to provide medical assistance, hydration, counseling, taping, etc.
To all athletes of Sherman High School.
Our Hours:.
.
Monday-Friday (normal school days).
30 minutes before the first practice (around 6-6:30 am) – 8 am..
AND.
after practice until 4:30.

Athletes should arrive for treatments in the morning by 7:15 am to ensure full evaluation and treatment.
Arrangements should be made with the athletic trainers if this time frame does not work..
Athletes MUST attend morning treatments if they need modifications for practice.
If an athlete does not attend morning treatments and waits until their athletic period to be evaluated or treated, they forfeit their right for modifications for that practice.
Under no circumstances, do the athletic trainers allow athletes to be late to practice or class because they were late to the evaluation/treatment time..
Athletes who need rehabilitation, tape, treatment, etc, before practice should arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to practice start time.
I.e.
If practice is at 7 am, the athlete should be in the the athletic training room no later than 6:30 am..
School holidays, weekends, and summer treatments:.

The SHS Athletic Trainers are “on call” for practices that occur over this time.
Appointments can be made on a case-by-case basis with Doc Stine or Doc Wade.
