SCARF has already completed three nature trails in Shelter Cove.
The first trail as of july 20 has plant identification signs and the third now has ten stations of exercise equipment.
All trails now have signs, benches and mutt mitts for those of you who like to travel with your four legged friends..

On July 21, SCARF officially opened the new Shelter Cove Softball/baseball field for play.
The field grand opening and opening and dedication happened on Labor Day Weekend, 2013 with festivities and games..

On July 13, SCARF held the first Children's Art Workshops for the children of Shelter Cove.
16 local children attended.
During July, 2014, on the 12th, 19th and 26th, free childrens art workshops were are offered to children of the community and southern humboldt and nearly 60 children attended..

Late summer will be a new special event sponsored by SCARF.
A quilt show is going to be held with over 60 quilts being being shown all over the Cove.
