Detailed description is Sheffield University Paediatrics Society is a great society for anyone considering a career in child health! Throughout the year, we hold talks from paediatricians covering topics from paediatric specialities and careers to electives and working abroad.
Every year we support a local children’s charity, providing members with lots of opportunities to get involved with fundraising.
This year we are introducing the Save a Baby’s Life project, where Paediatrics Society members can get involved with the local community, helping new parents learn paediatric basic life support.

Even if you feel a career in paediatrics isn’t for you, we’re still a useful society to know! We hold annual revision lectures for phase 3A and 3Bs and will be releasing useful revision resources soon..

It is £5 for lifetime membership which will allow free entry to our talks and priority to get involved with any of our volunteering opportunities..
