Shawn Faler was born in Riverside, California and began taking an interest in music at a very early age.
His grandparents were passionate about Country and Christian music while Shawn was growing up and this passion fed his love for singing to anyone who would listen.
He began singing in church at the early age of five and even then his family noticed the talent that Shawn had exuberant within his being.
With the support of his family and friends, he began to thrive at so many different things, including his perseverance of a country music career.
His love of singing country music has played a major role in his life, he was influenced by such great artists as Johnny Cash, George Strait & Alan Jackson just to name a few from a long list of artist..

While in high school Shawn was a very talented athlete in Cross Country, wrestling, track and field while at the same time he was involved in the schools very talented and competitive jazz and concert chorus.
With Shawn’s love for country music, the music of the heartland, this only fueled his passion for his country and by making a few decisions about his country the next life decision would allow him to travel the world and serve this love of country and change his life forever..

After high school and college, Shawn decided to put his dreams of being a country music recording artist on hold and joined the United States Navy.
He dedicated 15 years of his life to his country where he became a highly-decorated 1st class Petty Officer as an Aircraft Director aboard some of the Navy's largest aircraft carriers.
Shawn also for several years enjoyed another passion as a bull rider while for some time Shawn became a bull rider with the Northwest Rodeo Circuit and Military Pro Circuit.
After several injuries, Shawn decided it was time to retire from the circuit and once again focus on his one true passion, his musical career..

After taking a break from music and serving his country, Shawn decided to move to Nashville with his wife Ginger in the summer of 2007 to focus more on his country music.
Through networking on the internet, Shawn came into contact with Jim Frazier of SoundStar Entertainment Group and Visionway Records Nashville.
In January of 2009 Shawn set up a meeting with Jim Frazier, renowned recording producer-owner and CEO of Visionway Records Nashville.
Jim had an instant connection with Shawn and immediately began to set the wheels in motion for his upcoming CD project.
After beginning pre-production Shawn and Jim Frazier’s family became really close friends.
In the summer of 2010 Visionway Records released Shawn’s debut Single and CD project titled "Here I Am": Which he dedicated to all the service men and women that he has proudly called brothers and sisters for many years.

At this time Visionway Records Nashville is making preparations to release his next album/cd to be named at a later date and have recently completed a video for the song “A Couple of Ol’ Wise Men”.
His new album project should be completed in the late spring of 2012, and his current single “Wanted Man” written by his label mate and Producer Jim Frazier is slated for drop in later March 2012.
Jim Frazier and his staff was so impressed with the professionalism that Shawn exudes, that he was given a coveted position for A&R with Visionway Records Nashville in the Spring of 2011, where he oversees many aspects of label duties in communication and artists relations.
This position was awarded to Shawn Faler simply because he has learned quickly and has deep respect for the industry’s fellow artists along with his label mates..

In the summer of 2011, Shawn completed a very successful tour of the Western United States, as well as performing at the 2011 CMA Music Festival, and Shawn is currently planning an even more extensive tour in late summer 2012 throughout the United States.
