There will be an attendant starting Thurs at the entrance to the beach to collect the fees and get everyone set up.
For ppl who didnt catch the attendant, there is a pay station close to the entrance where you can get the paperwork filled out..

Sat - 80s/flourescent night (if you want to do flourescent body paint, go for it! Just don't spill it everywhere, if you do, clean it up!).

*This year, like last year, there will be a small daily CASH fee for parking each vehicle collected by a Shasta Lake employee at the entrance of the area.
I will update this with the actual exact cost asap.
CARPOOL and split the fees to reduce cost! Any vehicle without a parking pass will be assessed a daily fine, SO MAKE SURE YOU GET ONE.*.

Shoreline space will be very limited this year due to the lake being almost totally full.
The earlier you get there, the better the spot you'll end up with!.

**Due to the greatly increased attendance the last year or two, for this year we are operating under a U.S.
Department of Agriculture Forest Service Special-Use Permit for NonCommercial Group Use (Ref.: 36 CFR 251.54) in conjunction with the Shasta Trinity National Forest Service, so we will be taking extra care to keep the areas clean, minimize area environmental impact, and eliminate any drama so we can keep this even going for years to come.
Please take the extra time to police your area, and if you see anything that would go against our goals of zero impact and zero drama that would, in turn, jeapordize future events, help us out by notifying the individuals involved of our goals and also notify myself (Brad), the rangers/forest service people, or anyone that knows who I am and can pass the word along to me.

**Boat/Personal Watercraft Information:.
Anyone planning on bringing a boat, jet ski, etc, this applies to you!.
If your rig has been in any of the lakes listed, or any other location known to have an invasive species present, it's your responsibility to verify your boat is clean and clean it if necessary according to the info in these documents..

The lake is almost full, so there will be less shoreline than previous years, so CARPOOL if you can to save space..

Remember, you are camping and responsible for yourself.
So remember to bring all necessary camping gear.
This includes a tent, cooler, trash bags, GLOW STICKS you know, the usual! The OIT OUTDOOR PROGRAM in the CU can rent any camping gear you may need, for cheap!.

If you plan on having a camp fire, BRING SOME FIREWOOD.
Most all grocery stores will sell pre-chopped firewood in bundles.
It's pretty cheap, and it will easily fit in the truck of a car..

-You then drive all the way to the end of that road (about 5 miles) and the road will end at the beach.
