Detailed description is Shree Shankar Narayan Education Trust, was formed in the year 1993 to promote higher education in and around Mira - Bhayandar.
Shree Shankar Narayan Education Trust’s Shankar Narayan College of Arts and Commerce , Bhayandar (E) is one of the most significant institutions imparting higher education in the vicinities of Mira-Bhayandar area.
The college came into existence in 1994, the inception year, for fulfilling the long desired need of higher education of the region, as the region is semi-urban including a lot of low income groups and educationally deprived classes like SC, ST, NT and etc.
Prior to the inception, the students of area had to travel to Mumbai for higher education, which was costly and Herculean task.
Now the college facilitates education to the said groups in minimum cost with quality par excellence..
