My name is Shadia Serrano but so many people call me ShadiaMusic, why?, the reason is simple: I'm a singer, dancer, musician and licensed Zumba Fitness® instructor and all of those things are related with just one thing, MUSIC.

I joined different folklore academies in Colombia, my country, where I learned not only about the Colombian folk but also enjoyed international rhythms such as samba and tango, which I specialized in..

In 2009, I moved to Canada and I gained extra pounds, making harder my first years as a new immigrant.
I never heard about Zumba® until a close friend of mine became licensed instructor.
My first class was in 2011 and then I could say Zumba® changed my life.
I lost 20 pounds in just 5 months.
After a year and a half practicing, I finally became a licensed Zumba Fitness® instructor in 2012 and It completely jump-started my healthy lifestyle.
In 2013, I started "Let's Move", a casual program or friends support, which main idea began helping my closest friends in Colombia (where Zumba is not popular) and my Canadian group of friends to lose weight, on the basis of "If I could we all can, we just need to MOVE"..
