Basic Pistol Course - Highly Recommended Course - Certificate Awarded.
Introduction to the Safety Rules, local laws, safe pistol handling skills, safe firearms storage, transporting firearms, proper ammunition selection, and purchasing firearms/selection tips and firearm ownership responsibilities.
Course teaches the basic knowledge skills, fundamentals and application for revolvers and semi-automatics.
A complete review of basic fundamentals of proper stance (Three stance are covered) proper grip, breath control techniques, proper aiming techniques to include identification of sight alignment and sight picture, trigger control/placement and proper follow-thru movements.

A review of the “gauge concept” proper “shot shell” and shotgun selection will identify as related to the recreational shooting, close quarter self- defense and various hunting scenarios.
The history of shotguns in self-defense, hunting and combat will be covered with student participation.
A 15 round live fire course is monitored by a firearms instructor and range safety officer.

Introduction to the rifle Courses.
Complete review of the required safety rules, safe handling skills, proper “gun” selection, proper fit, identification and function of the four rifle action types.

Students will shoot a minimum of 25 rounds of ammo at an approved range under the supervision of a certified instructor and range master.
