Seek & Swoon started from a passion.
Jala Smith-Huys began her journey of creating throws by bringing her love of travel back to her home (which happens to be a 1920’s bungalow that’s in constant renovation in Portland, Oregon).
Jala wanted something cozy at home so she could dream of her next journey, whether it was a girls’ weekend to San Francisco or a two-month European adventure with her husband and two young sons.
She wanted to create a home that reflected her love and curiosity for distant places.

Our products reflect this: they are made in the USA from recycled cotton yarn that’s refiberized from apparel factories’ cutting room floors.
