Detailed description is Seahorse Swim School provides semi private lesson for all ages and abilities in the Ely area and presenting warm clean environments.
We offer highly qualified ASA teachers all CRB checked.
Polly would like to welcome you to the Seahorse Swim School offering classes for the absolute beginner all the way through to the confident swimmer.
Our aim is to provide top quality teaching in a calm but fun environment.
We have been up and running now for 3 years and are going from strength to strength..

Polly is a Level 2 ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) qualified swimming teacher, with additional Adult & Child qualifications and in excess of 8 years teaching experience and continually upgrading knowledge through attending regular sessions within the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme.
CRB checked, and teachers are insured via the ISTC (Institute of Swimming Teachers & Coaches) scheme.
We also have a full swim school insurance policy to cover all eventualities..

The lessons are arranged into small semi-private classes (3 or 4 per class maximum), which enables the teachers to meet the individual needs of each student.
The following sessions are offered:.

Adult & Child Sessions.
A fun and relaxed introduction for babies and children up to 3 years, developing water skills and confidence through games and songs.
These are 25 minute sessions, (5 children per class), Each child needs to be accompanied in the water by an adult.
Children who are not yet potty trained must wear a swim nappy in the water.

Seahorse Classes.
A follow-on from Adult & Child, offering a more structured approach to learning through fun based activities; developing independence in the water and introducing stroke technique.
These 25-30 minute sessions (max.

Infant / Junior Development.
We offer 30 minute sessions with a maximum of 4 swimmers per class.
The classes accommodate beginner to advanced swimmers developing water confidence and stroke technique.

Advanced lessons may also be available with extended duration up to 1 hour, offering continued stroke development and an introduction to starts, turns and advanced water skills.
