Scrapmania Retreat House is a beautiful 5 bedroom home complete with 2 baths perfect for scrapbooking, card making & quilting! We are open August through May.
This home features 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds on the main floor, with a walk in shower (with a fold down seat).
Other bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs.
We have a ramp outside for those needing it, and for those who don’t need it, but bring too much stuff! A full eat in kitchen allows you the ability to cook on site, complete with all the cookware & dining ware you will need.
If you are not in the mood to cook, Vinton offers many eating establishments including Ron Da Voo, Subway, La Reyna Mexican, Peony Chinese, Pizza Ranch, Jolly Rogers Pizza, City Lite Yogurt (like Orange Leaf), Pizza Hut, Subway, McDonalds, Vinton Family Restaurant, Tootsie’s (like Dairy Queen) & more.
There is also a Fareway grocery store in town.
We have plenty of parking and are easy to get to, only 35 minutes from Cedar Raids.
The house has a huge deck, with a swing to relax on.
It is also on a quiet street with little traffic, so it is a nice get away from daily life.
We have free WIFI, and 2 TVs on the main floor.
Tables & comfortable rolling chairs are set up for you prior to your arrival, along with individual Ott lighting and trash cans.
There will be extension cords & power strips on hand, please do not overload them, we want everyone to be safe.
We offer a Cricut Expression on site for use (must bring your own mat) with some cartridges.
We also have 2 Sizzix machines and hundreds of dies available for your use at no extra charge.
Since we are affiliated with Scrapmania (224 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Raids, IA 52402) there will be some basic items on hand for purchase.
(adhesive, trimmers, paper kits, Cricut mats, etc.) If you or your guests choose to purchase anything, the cost of items should be collected by the person in charge of the crop, and the cost will be taken off the deposit.
No pets are allowed at the house.
Smoking is only permitted outside.
Illegal drugs not allowed on premises.
All attendees must be 18 or over.

Rates: Friday-Sunday $90 per person, $20 per day for additional days.

Minimum: 8 people per weekend rental, maximum 16 people (minimum 4 people for additional days, like Thursday).

Check in at 10:00 am, Check out time is 3:00 pm.

Damage Deposit of $250 is required with each booking, deposit will be returned to you upon inspection of house.
Damage deposit will be mailed back within 14 days of departure date.

• missing items-cost depends on item missing.
• additional beds used $90 per bed (any groups caught w/ extra people unpaid for, at the house w/o a reservation will be banned permanently, no questions asked.
