Die Schützengesellschaft Rehau 1764 ist der älteste Verein in Rehau, der im Jahr 2014 das 250-jährige .
Jubiläum feiern kann - mit viel Schwung und besonderen Attraktionen für die Jugend in Rehau und Umgebung, soviel sei jetzt schon verraten!.

Aber der älteste Verein hat auch sehr viel Modernes zu bieten besonders für die Jugend..

Wir suchen keine Ballermänner, die Freude daran haben, dass es möglichst laut kracht!.

Aber wir freuen uns über Jugendliche, die unter Anleitung ausgebildeter und erfahrener, junger Übungsleiter das Gewehr- und Pistolenschießen in sicherer Umgebung ausüben wollen um vielleicht später in einer unserer Wettkampfmannschaften in den unterschiedlichen Ligen oder den Gau- und Landesmeisterschaften teilzunehmen..

In der sehr emotional und oft einseitig geführten Debatte um Schützenvereine und deren sportliches Angebot muss auch einmal gesagt werden, dass sich das verantwortungsvoll ausgeübte Sportschießen in Schützenvereinen bei Kindern und Jugendlichen ausgesprochen positiv auf die Konzentrations- und Leistungsfähigkeit sowie die allgemeinen koordinativen und motorischen Fertigkeiten auswirkt..
Auch bei den Olympischen Spielen ist das Sportschießen schließlich schon seit vielen Jahren dabei..

Aber auch Leute, die meinen Leistungssport ist nichts für mich, sollten sich einmal in der Schützengesellschaft umsehen.
Die Geselligkeit soll bei uns nicht zu kurz kommen..

Da ist einmal unser „Vogelschießen“.
Jedes Jahr wird bei den Schützenfesten mit der Armbrust, ein Holzvogel abgeschossen – real, nicht nur am PC per Videospiel - echt cool, eine Mordsgaudi! Und die Jungschützen haben da immer noch auch ihr eigenes Fest..

Oder die große Wanderung an Himmelfahrt, oder unsere Vogelschützenwanderung.
Das Zeltlager der Jungschützen könnte auch wieder durchgeführt werden.
Ihr seht für alle ist doch etwas dabei, nicht nur für die, die am schnellsten laufen oder am weitesten springen können.
