The Schriver Family would like to welcome you to the Farm! Our girls (Emma, Leah and Alivia), run the show.
They plant, pick and set up the display that you see (at least they help, anyway).
Little brother Lane has been pitching in when he is not napping..

We are grain farmers, but the work that our 3 young girls (under the age of 5) could participate in was slim.
They helped Dad check the crops and scout for beetles, and enjoyed the tractor rides during planting, however, we wanted to find an activity that they could become responsible for, so we started a pumpkin stand.
We added sweet corn this year (2015), and have wonderful plans to expand in the years to come.
We are very excited that we have found an activity for our whole family to enjoy, while simultaneously instilling a work ethic in our children.
Picking pumpkins, setting up the stand and bundling corn stalks is one of the most pleasurable days that we spend with our children.
