The Society is dedicated to the collecting, cataloging, preservation and displaying of artifacts and information depicting the history of Schoolcraft County.
To join our organization, you can become an active member, joining us for our meetings and assisting us in our programs if you wish to, for $10.00 per year, or if your time is limited you can become a supporting member for $10.00 per year.
Lifetime individual membership is $100.00, Senior Citizens (age 65 or older) lifetime membership is $50.00.
The Society holds monthly meeting in which are locally advertised.
Other contributions to our organization may be a donation of historical items.
Documented histories of families living in Schoolcraft County since its founding would be welcomed.

Our Museum, located the Manistique's Pioneer Park just west of the "Siphon" bridge consists of the historical Water Tower, the historic 1895 log cabin, the Imogene Herbert Museum housed in the Post House and historic fire engines.
