Detailed description is Schipper Farms has been family owned and operated in Martin, MI since 1945.
We grow corn, soybeans, wheat and hay and also raise beef cattle.
Our Facebook page serves two purposes: 1) To provide relevant information about our goods for sale to potential customers.
2) To entertain those interested in Schipper Farms with updates and photos.

The farm was bought in 1945 and Schipper Farms is now operated by the 3rd generation of the family while also employing members of the 4th generation.
The main farm is located just east of US 131 in Martin, MI and some of the land runs right up to the edge of the highway.

We farm about 1,300 acres of different crops including corn, soybeans, wheat and hay.
There are about 50 head of brood cows that calve every spring.
Our heard is Angus based and we have recently been introducing Simmental genetics.
Another aspect of our cattle operation is our feeder program with a capacity of 200 head.
We have also recently gotten into the goat business! We currently have 18 does that are Savannah/Kiko crosses.
