The first single – “Das Glockenspiel” - and the first album, “Zeitgeist”, stormed the charts, while the following albums “Weltreise”, “Leben”, “Tag und Nacht”, “Sehnsucht”, “Atemlos” and “Sonne” were released in over 25 countries, and with great success.
SCHILLER received five Gold and two Platinum awards and, along with a DVD award and Opus award, he also received an ECHO award in 2002.
SCHILLER accepted the invitation from the German Federal President Johannes Rau to perform in the Schloss Bellevue, and delighted 25,000 fans as a special guest of Depeche Mode in Athens, followed by performances in Kiev, Dubai, Moscow, St.
Petersburg and London.
In between the eight successful sold-out tours which followed, SCHILLER played a special concert with the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of Heinrich Heine in Berlin.
And, once again, this meant - welcome to the new world of SCHILLER..

Constantly searching for new connections, SCHILLER created visionary hymns of electronic music with extremely diverse collaborators.
Mike Oldfield, who has said that SCHILLER’s music “moves you really deep inside”, has appeared on SCHILLER albums, as has the legendary pianist Lang Lang.
Prominent guest singers like Xavier Naidoo, Sarah Brightman, “The Count” from Unheilig, Thomas D.
of the Fantastischen Vier and Peter Heppner showed their enthusiasm for Christopher von Deylen’s bewitching sound-worlds, as well as Can drummer Jaki Liebezeit and Pink Floyd drummer Gary Wallis.

1”, while the legendary soprano Anna Netrebko encounters electronic music for the first time and masterfully places Edward Grieg’s “Solveig’s Song” into Christopher von Deylen’s appealing acoustic landscape.
Elsewhere on OPUS, well-known classical melodies such as Rachmaninov’s „Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini” Op.
43, and Debussy’s „Reverie“, emerge like emotional docking stations from which SCHILLER creates timeless, beautiful and stunning electronic hymns.
