Der Schiclub St.Veit/Glan - Simonhöhe wurde im Jahre 1983 als "Bezirksschiclub" gegründet.
Gründungsmitglieder waren Herr Ing.
Erler, Herr Franz Schöbinger, Herr Karl Tamegger, Herr Adolf Schlacher, Herr Franz Leitner und Herr Günther Millonig.
erster Präsident des Vereins war Herr RA Dr.
Peter Someregger.
Als erster Obmann des Vereins fungierte Herr Ing.
Heribert Erler..

Am 24.10.1985 wurde der Vereinsname auf "Schiclub Raika St.Veit/Glan - Klippitzthörl" und später dann im Jahr 2004auf Schiclub St.Veit/Glan-Simonhöhe geändert.
Von 1985 bis 2002 war Herr Karl Tamegger Obmann des Vereines.
Stefan Klaming war Obmann von 2004 bis 2007.
Herr Aicher Meinhard, welcher schon 2002 bis 2004 Obmann war führt nun wieder den Verein seit Sommer 2007.

1987 übernahm Herr Robert Moser die Funktion als Trainer und sportlicher Leiter des Schiclubs.
