Detailed description is .The daughter of a pilot and a social worker, Sarah Jane Morris first got her start on the stage at a very young age.
She was a passionate ballet dancer until about the age 14 when she decided to focus her energies on musical theater.
At a very young age, Sarah was modeling for local businesses and department stores, and appeared in some television commercials which eventually led to her desire to get back to showbiz towards the end of her college run.
After graduating from SMU in Dallas, TX, Sarah moved to Los Angeles, and soon found work doing commercials and some modeling.
Several years of balancing acting classes, auditions, print modeling, commercials, guest spots and odd-jobs such as hair salon receptionist, catering and waitressing eventually proved to be worth it when she landed her first series regular gig on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters".
