Info about me:
Sarah is a world class Filipino entertainer popularly known as the one and only “Popstar Princess”. Among the youngest, most popular and successful performers in Asia, she is now setting sights to conquer the world.
Winning as grand champion of the Star For A Night singing competition in 2002 launched her professional career as a multi faceted performer: singer, recording artist, concert artist, TV host, movie/TV actress and commercial endorser.
Born July 25, 1988 in Manila to parents Delfin and Divina Geronimo, Sarah attended the Dominican School and started showing interest in singing and performing at an early age. She was a sophomore at the University of Santo Tomas Education High School when she joined Star For a Night, and was named Grand Champion thanks to her show stopping rendition of Celine Dion’s To love You More.
Although she instantly became busy with recording, television, motion pictures and other offers Sarah stuck to her decision to finish high school via Angelicum Home Study Program. She is now enrolled at the University of the Philippines Open University. This arrangement enables her to simultaneously continue her education while maintaining a busy career as a young, multi-talent, under the able management of the Viva Artists Agency. (VAA)
RECORDING CAREER
Sarah’s first recording was To Love You More for the Star For A Night commemorative album with the other finalists in the contest. This was released by Viva Records and was awarded the Gold Record signifying sales of over 20,000 copies in 2003.
Her first solo album, popstar, was released a year later. This remains her most successful recording to date, receiving quintuple Platinum citation for sales of over 200,000 units. This featured the hugely Forever’s Not Enough by ace composer Vehnee Saturno and other hit songs like Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan, Sa Iyo and To Love You More.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
Sarah is one of the Philippines’ most awarded young performers, receiving accolades for her lyrical talent even before she turned professional.
At age six in 1994 she won a talent search conducted by Isetann Recto, a shopping complex in the heart of Manila. More awards followed in various talent searches, the highlight of which was being named Grand Champion of the Children’s Division of Tyklas Talino ’96, a talent search sponsored by the Philippine Long Distance Telephone company (PLDT). Sarah was then only eight years of age.
In 1988, Sarah became the Grand Champion of PLDT’s Tuklas Talino, a title she held for three consecutive years. In December 2000, she was conferred a “ Hall of Fame” citation for consistently being in the grand finals for the Vocal Solo category.
All those honed Sarah’s talent and determined her destiny for the biggest moment of her career. Thus in 2003 she was named Grand Champion of the Star For A Night singing contest and engraved her fate as a professional singer, TV host and actress.
